Mindy Mendelsohn has been a professional astrologer for 35 years. She originated Sedona Monthly Magazine’s astrology column and was their sole contributor for four years and is a contributing astrologer for Yasmine Boland’s website, featured on podcasts as well as writing a weekly blog.
Her astrological studies include evolutionary, psychological, Hellenistic, astrocartography, and horary astrology. She holds certification in horary astrology at the practitioner level from the School of Traditional Astrology and completed the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology. When she works with clients she synthesizes multiple techniques. An early student of Julia Cameron she has been internationally facilitating the original workshop that The Artist Way developed out of for over 30 years. She designs and teaches workshops for astrologers and non-astrologers alike combining her background in the arts and astrology, using participants’ natal charts to guide consciously them through a process of self-discovery that enables them to shift patterns within their lives, a process she refers to as astrological midwifery. An actress, writer, and director she is currently creating a one-woman show combining her two lifelong passions the theatre and astrology. She was the recipient of the Verde Valley Chapter of National Association of Women’s Business Owners 2010 Award for Community Service. She is a member of the American Federation of Astrologers, ISAR(International Society of Astrological Research) and OPA (Organization of Professional Astrologers)
