Mindy Mendelsohn is a professional astrologer with over 35 years of client practice and more than four decades of devoted study. Her work bridges evolutionary, psychological, Hellenistic, astrocartography, and horary traditions — synthesizing technique with lived experience. She originated the astrology column for Sedona Monthly Magazine, contributes to Yasmin Boland’s website, writes a weekly blog, and has been a guest on numerous podcasts. In 2025, she served as a facilitator at the Living Astrologies Conference in New Mexico. Mindy holds practitioner-level certification in horary astrology from the School of Traditional Astrology and completed training with the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology. She is a member of the American Federation of Astrologers, International Society for Astrological Research, and the Organization for Professional Astrology. Her work is relationally based and deeply integrative. Rather than offering prediction alone, Mindy helps clients engage their charts as living maps — illuminating patterns, timing, and the evolutionary invitations within their lives. She refers to this process as astrological midwifery: supporting individuals in consciously participating in their becoming. An early student of Julia Cameron, Mindy has been internationally facilitating the original workshop that evolved into The Artist’s Way for over 30 years. Her workshops weave astrology with creativity, embodiment, and disciplined self-inquiry — guiding both astrologers and non-astrologers through profound processes of alignment and self-discovery. An actress, writer, and director, she continues to bridge theatre and astrology, currently developing a one-woman show that unites her lifelong devotion to both. |
