Navigating the Enchanted landscape within
For many years I have viewed my work, whether as an astrologer, artist or teacher, as cultivating a living relationship with the mysteries of the psyche, of consciousness itself. This includes both my own and those whom I have had the privilege to work with. This enchanted cosmos within is the fertile ground from which all of my work springs.
Over 20 years ago in 1999, a radio interviewer asked me what I felt and saw when I was sitting with a client’s chart. This seemingly simple question opened up a world within that I had never consciously articulated before. It was the first time that anyone had ever asked what my experience was, other interviews had always been focused on what the experience was like for the client. As a result, I had taken my perceptions for granted, a sort of background music that lived in my unconscious. It just was. In this singular moment, part of my inner world revealed itself to me, and my work was forever transformed.
My response to that question is a paradox; both simple and complex. On a certain level, it is beyond words. I experience is a type of crystalline hologram. My awareness changes and deepens and I have a breathtaking sense of the mystery and magic of the person, the soul essence, of whom I am working with. My goal as an astrologer is that each client that I work with experiences this same timeless sense of the sacredness of their being. That even if it is just momentary they can profoundly sense a numinous alignment with themselves and their life’s journey in a visceral way that is lasting. They can in essence touch the magic thread that ties them to the rest of the universe in a glorious weaving.
I find that often in our day-to-day lives we have long forgotten that, at best we often experience in gratitude the sacredness of the world around us but somehow we don’t include ourselves, our journey in that equation. Not consciously at least. I have come to believe that each of our lives is at its core a pilgrimage. Each if us, our life’s journey, is the embodiment of a divine quest. The birth chart is a form of sacred cartography that simultaneously can act as a map and compass. Map, through the houses, delineated in a natal chart that lay out the territory we have chosen to explore and compass, in that by fully embracing the complexity of our psyche reflected symbolically by the planets and signs within it can be used as a divine instrument to help us locate True North guiding us towards our next step on our journey of becoming.
For a while now I have been working to develop programs that teach my clients, mostly non-astrologers a way to work with their chart, essentially to experience their chart as a living entity, a sort of alchemical compass that is their companion on this journey. A Daimon (guiding spirit) of sorts that reflects both the inner and outer landscape.
The Alchemical Compass: Navigating the Sacred Enchanted Landscape Within
Beginning Sunday, February 11, 10am- 12pm MST.(no class Easter Sunday) 10 weeks. $500
All classes are taught via Zoom. Participants have access to a recorded video after class. Space is extremely limited to ensure an intimate experience as we will be working with the participant's individual charts in each class.
In The Alchemical Compass: Navigating the Sacred Enchanted Landscape Within we will explore and work with the Moon (our needs, our sense of belonging), Venus (what we value and want, how we experience feeling loved), Mars (Our desires and how we go after them) and Mercury (How we perceive the world) using your chart and those of other participants. Through exploration, experiential, and creative, class members will develop a new relationship with their inner world as reflected by the chart allowing them to more fully consciously harness its power. The universe gives us many opportunities along our journey to deeply connect with ourselves and others. This course through a process of discovery and exploration shows us how to have greater access to these opportunities. How to begin to harness your chart's innate power.
These inner planets are what take us places while we are making other plans. In other words, the inner planets reflect the fertile ground within our psyche from which we actually live our lives. As Carl Jung said, " What we don't integrate on the inside shows up on the outside dressed as fate."
The way we look at things, both consciously and unconsciously, is the most powerful force in shaping our lives. In this class, we are working with our inner landscape and as we deepen our intimacy with its geography our outer landscape reflects this through new vistas.

While it is not required that you have had a reading with me in the past it is recommended. With this in mind, I am taking $50 off the price of an initial reading (Normally $240, $190 class members)if you are a class participant and for existing clients if you are interested in participating and would like a chart brush up prior to participating or throughout the class I am also extending the offer 1.5 hours$220 normally, $180 class members)
